Why Lifters Film With a Magnetic Mount Instead of a Tripod
Tripods take floor space you don't have in a busy commercial gym, fall over when someone walks past, and never sit at the right height for a rack pull or a cable row. So most people give up and prop the phone against a plate, where it slides, overheats face-up on the floor, and films the ceiling.

Double-Sided N52 Magnet System
This isn't a single weak magnet behind a plastic cap. The base carries six N52-grade neodymium magnets across a flat contact face, so it grips smooth steel evenly instead of pivoting on one point. The phone side uses a 20-magnet N52 ring sized to MagSafe, so your iPhone snaps into alignment the same way it does on an official charger.
Two magnetic faces, one job each: the base holds the rack, the ring holds the phone. The all-metal body means there's no flexing plastic bracket between them.
Always test the hold on your specific surface before letting go, grip depends on the steel being flat, smooth and clean.
360° Ball Head, Any Angle, One Hand
The ball-head joint tilts and rotates a full 360°. Switch from landscape for a full-body squat shot to portrait for a Reel, or fine-tune the tilt for a form check, all one-handed, mid-set, without moving the base off the rack. Lock it where you want it and it stays put.
Works With Your Phone, iPhone or Android
- iPhone 12 through 17: attaches directly via MagSafe, no accessory needed.
- Android (Samsung Galaxy, Pixel, OnePlus and others): stick the included metal ring adapter to a clean, dry, smooth case back and the phone holds magnetically.
- Non-MagSafe iPhones or older cases: same metal ring adapter does the job.
Because the phone is held at the rack, not balanced on the floor, you're not sweating on the screen, kicking it between sets, or filming the ceiling.
Built for the Gym, Honest About Where It Won't Work
This is a static, indoor filming mount. It's engineered for ferrous gym equipment and nothing else:
- Grips: smooth steel and iron, squat racks, cable machines, gym rigs, dumbbell trees, iron frames, lockers.
- Won't grip: aluminium, plastic, rubber-coated, painted, glass, carbon fibre, wood or non-magnetic stainless steel.
- Not for moving use: no car dashboards, no bikes, no anything that vibrates or moves. Magnet-only mounts and moving vehicles don't mix.
- Keep it dry: avoid water, rain and heavy sweat.
