Are they strong enough for heavy lifting?

Yes. The lever-lock mechanism and non-slip rubber grip lining are designed to hold plates securely during heavy strength training when properly clamped.

Can I use them for deadlifts and squats?

Yes. They are suitable for common barbell lifts including deadlifts, squats, bench press, overhead press and rows.

Can I use them with bumper plates?

Yes. They work with bumper plates, iron plates, calibrated plates and mixed plate stacks, as long as they are being used on a standard Olympic barbell sleeve.

Will the magnets stick to any surface?

No. The magnets only attach to suitable ferrous metal surfaces such as steel racks, squat stands, cable machines and metal gym frames. They will not stick properly to aluminium, plastic, rubber-coated surfaces, wood or non-magnetic stainless steel.

Will they scratch my barbell?

The collars include a non-slip rubber interior lining to help grip the sleeve and reduce direct scratching when used correctly.
